How We Recruit

We are delighted that you are considering applying for a role at Children’s Health Ireland. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment where all staff feel valued and supported. Our recruitment process is designed to identify the best candidates for each role while ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance. Below is a brief overview of our recruitment process, along with useful links to help you prepare your application.

Internal vs External applicants

Internal applicants are current employees of Children’s Health Ireland, including those employed through agencies and students on placement.

If a vacancy is marked as ‘internal only’, you will need a CHI staff number to apply. Internal applicants should submit their application through our recruitment system – Rezoomo, regardless of whether the role is advertised internally or externally.

If you are an internal applicant without CHI staff number, all internal vacancies can also be viewed on the external CHI careers page and will be clearly marked as internal. Affiliates and students without staff number should also apply via the external CHI careers website.
