Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

Purpose of the Role: 

The purpose of this role is work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and the supply chain team to support the efficient management of the supply chain and inventory management.

 

Essential Criteria:

Have at least 2 years’ customer service, supply chain, procurement or vendor management experience in public and/or private sector

Have been educated to Leaving Certificate level or demonstrate an equivalent level of experience in a health care organisation with a large and diverse workforce

 

Desirable Criteria:

Third level education or Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Accredited Degree or CIPS Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply

Knowledge of SAP

Handheld Scanners

Inventory Management Solutions

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience of inventory management

Good communication skills

Good problem solving skills

Team player

Work under pressure

Ability to develop and foster working relationships with stakeholders to secure buy in for initiatives

Understand clinical risk management.

Ability to manage and respond to change – flexibility

Leadership ability, proactive development, motivation and engagement skills

Must be computer literate in MS Office and other relevant IT packages

Understand the Health sector
