Senior Physiotherapist in Paediatric Musculoskeletal

 

Purpose of the Role:

Provide appropriate physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment in accordance with current best practice to infants and children referred to the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy team.

 

Essential Criteria:

· Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application, or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number in the case of section 91 applicants

 

· All candidates must have three years full time (or equivalent) years post qualification clinical experience of which one year is in the area of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

 

· Strong clinical background & previous experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy of minimum one year

 

· Recent acute hospital experience, including participation in on call physiotherapy service

 

· Demonstrate evidence of recent formal continuing professional development relevant to the required area of specialism, in the form of post-graduate qualifications or relevant courses
