144885 Senior Music Therapist

Permanent Contract

Candidates must meet the below criteria by the closing date of the advertisement.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised masters level qualification in Music Therapy training  – including suitable clinical placements
  • Eligible for membership of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists
  • Minimum of 3 years’ satisfactory post-qualification experience
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with neurodisability
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable Criteria:

  • Recent experience in delivery of music therapy services in the acute healthcare setting
  • Experience of working with children presenting with neurological and neurosurgical conditions
  • Experience as a supervisor of students and/ or staff grade music therapists
