Applications are invited for the post of Security Architect at Children’s Health Ireland (CHI).
The Security Architect is responsible for providing risk assessment and security architecture support, project security governance and guidance to ICT for production platforms, new system implementations and system change initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
- A level 8 (Degree) qualification in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronic Engineering plus a minimum of 3+ years’ post qualification experience in ICT Security implementation and architecture or a similar and relevant role OR if qualification criteria cannot be met, 7+ years’ experience in ICT Security implementation and architecture or a similar and relevant role
- An ICT Security qualification
- A deep understanding of the role of ICT Security in ICT risk management and controls
- Experienced in designing and implementing ICT Security architecture for complex multi-component systems
- Demonstrated experience developing conceptual, logical and physical ICT security architecture deliverables
- Experience with Siem products, perimeter firewalls, endpoint protection applications
- Experience with a securing a virtual and physical server and workspace environments
