Patient Flow Department – CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER II

          Part Time Specific Purpose Contract – 19.5hrs/wk. – 0.5 WTE

Applications are invited for an experienced skilled nurse to work in the Patient Flow department in the Children’s University Hospital. The successful applicant will have a key role in ensuring effective and efficient use of all beds, through the co-ordination of emergency, elective admissions and the discharge planning of patients in accordance with the hospital’s bed management policy. Applicants must have proven leadership skills, together with well-developed organisational, decision-making and planning skills.

Essential:

  • Registered Children’s Nurse/Registered General Nurse
  • Five years post registration experience in nursing.

Desirable:

  • Degree in Nursing  / Recognised Management Course or willingness to undertake same
  • Previous Relevant Management experience
