OPHTHALMOLOGY CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST (CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER 2 GRADE)

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Nurse with a special interest in Ophthalmology to join our team within the hospital. The post will include care of children with ophthalmic conditions The CNM/CNS in Ophthalmology has a pivotal role in the co-ordination and management of outpatients and services within the clinical area. The role of the Ophthalmology CNM/CNS will be a dynamic and developing role. Full training will be provided. We offer professional development and support allowing you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills.

 

ESSENTIAL:

• RCN/RGN with paediatric experience
• 5 years post registration experience
• Experience of caring for children with Ophthalmic conditions
• Relevant post graduate qualification or willingness to undertake same

 

DESIRABLE:

• Relevant post- registration Qualification in Ophthalmic nursing
• A recognised leadership or management qualification or willingness to undertake same
• Ability to work with ICT systems such as Microsoft word and excel.
