Operational Commissioning Project Officer – Grade V

Purpose of the Role:

This role encompasses a broad range of individual functions essential to support the project team. The role requires excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. The Commissioning Project Officer will use their comprehensive administrative, organisational and time management skills to support the team with the extensive duties and interactions with CHI staff, the Commissioning programme team, the wider CHI Programme team and external parties.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum qualification of a successful completion of Leaving Certificate or equivalent or have achieved a minimum of Level 6 QQI qualification
  • Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a busy administrative role
  • Highly developed organisational and administrative skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workloads, ensure timely delivery of services and the completion of projects
  • Sound computer literacy, with advanced skills in using Microsoft Office programs including, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with a demonstrated ability to understand and adapt to new electronic processes and programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate successfully and sensitively with patients, public, staff and management
