NEUROSDISABILITY CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST

Clinical Nurse Manager II    

SPECIFIED PURPOSE CONTRACT – 1WTE – 39 Hours per week

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above position.  The successful candidate will have excellent clinical, evidenced based knowledge and skills.  S/he will demonstrate strong leadership skills and will have experience or strong interest in Research and Clinical Audit.  We offer professional development and support, allowing you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in the above role.

 

ESSENTIAL:

  • Candidates must be RCN/RNID registered in the Children’s division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) with paediatric experience
  • 5 years post registration experience
  • Experience of caring for children with neurodisability or complex medical needs
  • Relevant post graduate qualification or willingness to undertake same

 

DESIRABLE:

  • Ability to work with ICT systems such as Microsoft word and excel
