Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) ICT Programme has an exciting opportunity for a Network and Desktop Support Analyst (Grade VI)

The Network and Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for providing network and desktop support across all of CHI’s existing and proposed facilities.

As the Network and Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for participating in the creation of an end-to-end approach of imaging, deploying and network patching / wireless configuration of endpoint workstations, while also aid with diagnosis of support issues and liaising with third party suppliers and support services to resolve issues.

Essential Criteria

  • A 3rd Level qualification in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronic Engineering or if the qualification criteria is not met, 7 years’ experience in a similar and relevant role
  • 3 years post qualification experience in a relevant role such as network and desktop support
  • Experience with Windows endpoint management, updating, and desktop imaging processes
