Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at CrumlinTemple Street and Tallaght. The three children’s hospitals and CHI’s Corporate Office transitioned from four separates, independently governed entities into one new single organisation effective from 1st January 2019 to govern and operate paediatric services in Dublin. 

This new organisation will operate as a single service across the existing locations of Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and the CHI Corporate Office before transitioning to the new facilities at the two paediatric outpatient and urgent care centres at Connolly and Tallaght Hospitals and the new children’s hospital on the campus shared with St James’s Hospital.

The Role of Locum Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Respiratory Medicine – Closing date 15th October 2021

This is a locum post with 39 hours at Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, Dublin 12, Ireland on a Type B contract full-time or part-time basis to commence as soon as possible for a period of 12 months. 

Applicants must be registered as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of paediatrics and two years certified postgraduate training in paediatric respiratory medicine.
