Purpose of the Role:

Children’s Health Ireland is looking for an Integration Analyst with hands-on and active tech experience in software or integration development and support.

The Integration Analyst will assist and support the ICT function in the design, development, maintenance and support of our Integration Engine, interfaces and supporting tools.

Having been provided the necessary training on our Integration Engine(s) the Integration Analyst will utilise this skillset in the development, testing, support and maintenance of application integrations and interfaces supporting both clinical and non-clinical business processes.

Essential Criteria:

  • A third level degree/post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline such as Health Information Systems, Information Technology or Interoperability plus a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a relevant and similar role   

OR

  • 4 years’ experience in a relevant and similar role.

Plus:

  • Experience in software development in languages such as C++, C#, VB, Java, JavaScript, JQuery and PHP and consuming / working with web services and APIs
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of database engines such as Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL, SQL scripting and stored procedures and ETL
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of full software development lifecycles
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of some or all of the following: IHE, CDA, XDS, HL7, Web Services, APIs and data integration & Interoperability
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, solve problems, establish priorities effectively and liaison with internal and external parties to resolve issues
  • Proven critical thinking skills, follow through, and attention to detail
