Purpose of the Role:

CHI is looking for a hands-on, active and experienced Clinical System Analyst to support existing clinical systems and teams across CHI. 

This position forms a key role within the overall CHI Digital Health function. This function goes across all facilities under the management structure of CHI. The post holder will be expected to work across all locations and with all team (clinical and administrative) associated with CHI.

You will work with the ICT leadership team to plan, control, manage and deliver clinical systems support, upgrades and projects.  

You will have experience in the management of clinical systems, and the proven ability to support project resources, and deliver high quality customer focused outcomes. 

The Clinical Systems Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Provide specialist knowledge and support to stakeholders of Clinical Application solutions.
  • Development of the Clinical Application solutions.
  • Ongoing level 2 support management and maintenance of Clinical Application solutions.
  • Enhancements, upgrade, optimization and development of Clinical Application solutions.
  • Align local requirements with CHI’s strategic direction ensuring the delivery of application support meet the needs of all CHI sites.
  • Clinical Application training and testing.
  • Supporting the implementation of the EHR and dependent technologies.
  • Supporting the implementation of the future system architecture of CHI including Change Advisory Board.
  • Clinical Application Projects as required.

The successful candidate will be expected to

  • Track and communicate the status of applications and projects.
  • Manage risks, issues and scope within the governance structure ensuring appropriate reporting, escalation and approvals.
  • Preparing and seeking endorsement of key documents.

Balance your own work schedule to ensure optimal outcomes and timelines are achieved.

Essential Criteria:

  • Third level qualification in Healthcare Informatics, ICT Management or other ICT related discipline.  Qualifications in Healthcare /Nursing /Medicine and Allied services will be considered once the other essential criteria are met.
  • A minimum of1 years’ Application Administration experience
  • Over 1 years’ data management or healthcare informatics experience.
  • Experience in testing systems and developing test scripts that will thoroughly test all aspects of the systems.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience in analysing and extracting data.
