Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to is to manage and lead the administrative team within the Genetics Department. Encourage and support staff through change processes. Support all daily aspects. Promote and maintain a patient focus environment and will be responsible for ensuring optimal administrative support is provided to the Clinical Genetics service & the Genetics Laboratory service of in an efficient and streamlined manger. Ensure clinical capacity and waiting list is reviewed weekly and lead on changes required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant Administration qualification or demonstrate an equivalent level of experience of working at management level in a health care environment
  • Supervisory and/or Management experience.
  • Experience of working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work to deadlines and devise and implement plans and changes
