Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst – Financial Management, Grade VII.

The purpose of this role is to supplement existing financial management capacity within CHI specifically with respect to the deployment of IFMS, COVID cost reporting and pay management.  This role will form part of a centre of excellence responsible for the continuous monitoring, improvement and overall internal controls assurance across CHI. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Possess a third level qualification in Business Studies, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Significant experience working in finance related role in large multi divisional organisation to include experience of computerised finance and budgeting systems.
  • Significant experience in data gathering, analysing, and documenting of controls, processes and procedures.
  • Significant experience in system migration / implementation projects.
  • Significant experience in documenting outputs from workshops, devising option papers, producing system/process designs, functional specification and related documentation including process flow diagrams.
  • Possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of management ability for the proper discharge of the office.
