ENDOCRINOLOGY NURSE SPECIALIST

(Clinical Nurse Manager 2 with intent to seek Clinical Nurse Specialist status approval when eligible to do so)

Fixed Term Full Time 39 hours (1wte ) Contract ( Part Time hours will be considered )

The NS in Endocrinology has a pivotal role in co-ordination and management of activity and services within the clinical area. CHI at Temple Street has recently been recognised as the National Centre for Paediatric Rare Bone Disorders and the successful candidate will work alongside the Endocrinology team in developing this exciting new service.

ESSENTIAL:    

  • Registered Children’s Nurse
  • Five years post registration experience in nursing.
  • Two years previous paediatric Endocrinology experience.
  • Proven track record in continuing professional development.

DESIRABLE:

  • Recognised level 8 post graduate Diploma in Endocrine Nursing or willingness to undertake same.
