Purpose of the Role:

CHI is looking for a Technical Analyst to actively participate in the design, development, testing, support and maintenance of application integration, data migration and data analytical activities for a range of existing hospital systems to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Data Migration and System integrations play a key role in the operation of CHI and the design, build and testing of EHR migrations and application integrations between existing hospitals systems to and from the EHR system will be key to their success.

The successful candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills in the area of data, databases, ETL, Integration and data migration. They will have SQL experience with a proven track record of successful data migration and integration. They will have good leadership, communication, planning and project management skills. They will have a history of delivering within a project and previous experience within the healthcare industry will be highly regarded. 

The successful candidate will work closely with clinical, business analysts and system administrators and external vendors to understand and provide feedback on complex functional requirements, identify gaps and technical limitations, propose solutions and workarounds and formalize solutions in technical design documents.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible in their role duties. CHI are engaging is an extremely large developmental and change management process as we move to the new hospital and new ways of working.

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Relevant 3rd level degree/post-graduate qualification plus at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role, ideally in Healthcare, in Project Management, in ICT or large organisational transformation projects.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development, ideally in digital healthcare, change management or quality improvement

or

  • 4+ years’ experience in a relevant/similar role, ideally in digital healthcare, in healthcare or large organisational transformation project.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development, ideally in digital healthcare, change management or quality improvement
