Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) operates as a single service across the existing Dublin children’s hospitals, Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght. Also, the paediatric outpatients and urgent care centres, Connolly which opened in July 2019 and Tallaght which is due to open in 2021. CHI governs and operates local paediatric services for the Greater Dublin Area and all national paediatric specialist services, some of which are on an all-island basis.

The Evolve System Administrator will play a pivotal role within Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) by ensuring the co-ordination of a standardised and co-ordinated approach to the on-going maintenance and change control processes for the EDMS. The post holder will be responsible for the on-going management of the Evolve Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). The individual will ensure cross collaboration with System Administrators across each of the CHI Sites

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, 2 of which will be consistent with working in a healthcare data management or healthcare informatics environment or working on significant IT project management projects.
  • Experience in managing Patient Administration Systems, clinical information systems and/or managing Electronic Document Management Systems.
  •  Experience in managing healthcare information management systems / solutions.
  •  Experience in evaluating system functionality and workflows, testing systems and developing test scripts that will thoroughly test all aspects of the systems and encompass systems integrated with iPIMS and EDMS.
  • Experience in analysing and extracting data.
  • Experience in the design, delivery, implementation and evaluation of ICT systems training
