Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at CrumlinTemple Street and Tallaght. The three children’s hospitals and CHI’s Corporate Office transitioned from four separates, independently governed entities into one new single organisation effective from 1st January 2019 to govern and operate paediatric services in Dublin. 

 

This new organisation will operate as a single service across the existing locations of Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and the CHI Corporate Office before transitioning to the new facilities at the two paediatric outpatient and urgent care centres at Connolly and Tallaght Hospitals and the new children’s hospital on the campus shared with St James’s Hospital.

 

The Role of Consultant Paediatric Radiologist – 39 hours Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin – Closing date Friday, 23rd April 2021

Applicants must be registered as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of radiology and have 2 years certified postgraduate training in paediatric radiology.

A proleptic appointment will be considered for Post Fellowship candidates currently in Paediatric Radiology fellowship training positions, who are within 18 months of completion of subspecialist training.

Essential requirements – registration with the Irish Medical Council or entitlement to be registered.

 A panel may be created from which permanent, fixed term and specified purpose vacancies of a full or part time duration may be filled across the five Children’s Health Ireland locations. The tenure of these panels will be indicated at offer stage.
