Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

145835 Clinical Specialist Radiographer Nuclear Medicine

Permanent Contract

Candidates must meet the below criteria by the closing date of the advertisement.

 

Essential Criteria:

Candidates must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the post, possess:

  • Bachelor of Radiography for Diagnostic Radiography or possess the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
  • Be registered or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU
  • On appointment practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU once initial registration is secured
  • Possess a recognized postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine  as recognised by the IIRRT and 3 years clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine                                                                                                                                                     Or
  • Have not less than 6 years full time post qualification clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Paediatric experience

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Recognised Management qualification
  • Demonstrates knowledge of audit and research practises in Radiology services.
  • Shows excellent written communication skills, that is clear and concise through application and cover letter
  • Demonstrates leadership and team management skills including the ability to work with multidisciplinary team members
  • Demonstrates an ability to effectively evaluate information and make appropriate decisions
  • Demonstrate sufficient clinical knowledge and evidence based practice to carry out the duties of the role
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply knowledge to best practice
  • Demonstrates the ability to extract statistical information from the system and participate in business planning as required
  • Demonstrates evidence of effective planning and organising skills including awareness of resource management
  • Demonstrates commitment to providing a quality service
