An exciting opportunity has arisen within Surgical Flat Ward for an enthusiastic, motivated Nurse to join the team. The successful candidate will need to be forward thinking and self-motivated with expert clinical knowledge. The post will give the successful candidate an opportunity to use your       leadership skills and at the same time offer exposure to wider organisational nursing issues.  We offer professional development and support allowing you the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to work over a 7 day roster in collaboration with other CNM1’s

Essential Criteria:

  • Be registered on the Children’s Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
  • Have at least 3 years post registration experience including experience within the area
  • Evidence of on-going education
  • Have proven clinical and managerial ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Degree in Nursing
  • Management Experience
  • Experience of change management
  • Recognised management course or willingness to undertake same.
