Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to provide professional and managerial leadership within Nazareth Ward encouraging staff to develop clinical expertise for the benefit of staff and users of the service. The post holder is accountable, responsible and has authority for delivering a quality service and ensuring patient safety.

Essential Criteria:

Be registered on the Children’s Division and/or the General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland

And

 

Have 3 years post graduate experience including Neonatal experience

 And

Management Experience

And

Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role

And

Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level
